Blast from the way-back past

Wow, what a cool place. I'm sitting here misty-eyed. What amazing flashbacks I'm having. Those were the days.

Boy talk about flashbacks, I did a google on my old BBS and came up with this site.  Need to call some of the old users and let them know about this place.

Hey Jim, I saw your handle and it reminded me of Gateway*Shoe (Terry Shoemaker). Were you a member of Gateway City ... or Flash BBS ... or any of the old Atari BBSes in St. Louis?

Were you a Atari user at one time?

Yes. I grew up on the Atari 800, 130XE, 520ST, and 1040STe computers, as well as the 2400 and Jaguar game systems.

You don't say!   I used a Atari 400 through the 80's, a ST in the late late 90's, and a Atari 800 through the 00's and current.

So what was the local Atari BBS scene like and why are you not on the current Atari BBSs?  :P

Actually, I am on some current Atari BBSes! I believe I am on the Grove and Dark Forces among others.
